THE ROLE
Summit Series is seeking a full-time, seasoned Creative Producer who will be the execution engine of all small and large Summit events and experiences including Summit global membership events and the creative content producer for flagship events.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The Creative Producer oversees all Summit membership events and aspects of Summit Series live event production including but not limited to the responsibilities as outlined below:
Management and execution of creative direction including project management of stage design, environmental design, programming integration, art direction, experiential design, travel experiences, and other programmatic elements.
Work closely with the CEO, Creative Director, and cross-functional teams (Programming, Production, Marketing, Partnerships) to ensure creative cohesion in the execution across all elements of the event.
Coordinate the interconnected parts related to stage design, partnership activation concepts, logistics, integration with technical production teams, fabrication, installation/tear down, load in, load out, pre- and post-event logistics and follow up.
Advance production and operational teams and function as the core communication hub between the Creative Director and the production people / teams / vendors.
Manage external production partners — including technical designers, video editors, stage designers, and AV teams.
Oversee creative quality control during load-in, rehearsals, and live execution; ensure every touchpoint reflects the event’s creative intent.
Work both independently and within a team environment to manage the overall production teams, budgets, and successful execution of concepts.
Coordinate with creative, content and programming, sponsorship / partnership teams as well as liaise with relevant venues, vendors, and client contacts.
Oversight of experiential sponsor activations, spaces, sponsored speakers, high-end parties for clients, events created for content capture, and more.
Work with content, programming, and marketing teams on activations and event needs.
Collaborate with internal and external Summit Series resources, people and teams, vendors, venues, etc.
Manage RFP processes with vendors when applicable.
Participate in the creation, execution, and management of budgets for events (vendors, permits, labor, fabrication, etc.).
Oversee design, logistics, fabrication, installation/tear down in multiple environments.
Advance all production and operational elements such as power, heavy equipment, site ops, labor for events when applicable.
Procure all supplies, staffing, custom decor items, trucking, lighting, and audio as per budget constraints.
Deliver or source training as needed and ensure on-site supervision.
Act as bridge between and oversee production and integration of sponsorship / partnership experiences and activations.
Act as bridge between and oversee production and integration of specialty F&B sponsorships / partnerships and culinary activations.
SKILLS
5+ years’ experience in production, budgeting, and executing events and experiences.
Eye for details with impeccable project oversight, ability to see the big picture as much as the importance of the attention to detail.
Coming from a background in luxury/high-end events is a plus.
You embody the ethos and culture of the Summit community and are a collaborative and kind human being.
You have exceptional oral communication skills and a strong attention to detail.
You have a roll up your sleeves – no job too small – attitude.
You are a self-starter who is able to work both independently and as part of a team.
Business acumen needed for interacting with event guests, accompanied by the sensibilities of working with production teams (from clients to vendors, artist managers, venue staff, etc.).
Highly effective at managing multiple projects at one time.
Ability to manage a team and work independently with necessary status updates.
Ability to quickly navigate programs such as Keynote, Slack, Airtable, Google, Office Suite, and more.
Knowledge of music and entertainment, A/V, lighting needs.
Must be available to work occasional weekends and evenings.
JOB TYPE
This is a full-time role.
COMPENSATION
Salary, based and commensurate to experience level.
LOCATION
Remote. Travel required for on-site events.
